Children’s Ministry Director
My passion is to share the story of Jesus Christ with all around me. I particularly enjoy working with children and their families as they learn the joy of a life with Jesus. Jesus Himself invited the little children to come to him, and it is my joy to help families learn together how to grow into a life with Him.
My husband Andy and I have been married since 1994. He and I have been active participants in BridgeWay for many years, and we have both been active in many ministries in the church. We have four children who grew up with BridgeWay as their home church: Elizabeth, Matthew, Jacob, and Ben.
I have lived in the Indianapolis area for my entire life. I grew up on the near North side, and attended North Central High School. I earned a BA in Special Education / Elementary Education at Ball State University and served as a Special Education teacher for a few years before focusing on home-schooling our children. I currently serve as a volunteer leader for a homeschool cooperative. I have been involved in children’s ministry at BridgeWay in multiple roles for many years. I love how BridgeWay has been a partner in raising our children and I love the opportunity to help this continue.
I love to knit and crochet. I enjoy trying new patterns and finding new ways to make things. I also enjoy time with my friends and family, and being in the word.
