November 21, 2019
Good morning! I hope this finds everyone doing well and getting ready to head into the Holiday Season. We have a quick reminder and a few updates that we want to share with everyone before everything gets too busy with Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.
First, a reminder that this coming Sunday, November 24th, is the final day to donate to the supply drive to benefit Wheeler Mission. We have been grateful for the opportunity to partner with Wheeler on several occasions and this supply drive will allow them to be prepared for the impending season. Donation lists are available on our Facebook page and donations can be dropped off at the church through service this coming Sunday. There are some collection crates near the restrooms in the lobby of the church. Thank you for all you do for the kingdom!
Next a couple of updates. If you were not with us in service this past Sunday, we made a couple of announcements that we want everyone to be aware of. First, after a couple of months of prayer and interviews, the Board of Elders is pleased to present Andy Harris and Mark Carraway as candidates for the Elder Board. Andy & his wife Heather have been at Bridgeway since the beginning. Both of them serve in our family ministries and will be a tremendous asset to the board. Mark & his wife Christie came to Bridgeway early in the year and have made an immediate impact serving and volunteering in various ministries of the church. Per our bylaws, the church has three weeks to make us aware of any reasons why these men might NOT serve. After that, they will come on the Board as official members. Should you have any concerns, you can reach out to me at email@example.com
The second update concerns our Family Pastor, Eric Baumann, and his family. Many of you know that Eric’s wife, Amy, works for a radio show. They were made aware that this show will be relocating to Nashville, Tennessee and will be taking the Baumann’s with it. Needless to say, while we are excited that they get a new adventure, we will miss having them at Bridgeway. This transition will not take place until after the school year, but we wanted to get out in front of the news. Having just learned of this, we don’t have a lot of the details regarding the transition but will know much more by our next Core Gathering, which is scheduled for January 26th. Pray for Eric, Amy, and their three boys as they process and plan for this new development. We will take many opportunities over the next couple of months to let them know how much we appreciate all they’ve done for Bridgeway.
Again, let me say thank you for all you do for the church and for the Kingdom!
Kenny Panduku, Lead Pastor
