The Next Chapter For Bridgeway
November 7, 2016
After sifting through numerous resumes for our Lead Pastor search, we realized that God was leading us to focus on two very qualified internal candidates, Kenny Panduku and Josh Wagner. On Sunday, November 6, we were pleased to present Kenny Panduku as our final selection for Lead Pastor at Bridgeway. This decision has become a win-win for Bridgeway, and both of our candidates, as we not only get to have Josh enthusiastically continue to serve on our pastoral team, we get to now add Kenny to help lead it.
Kenny Panduku received his Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and Youth Ministry from Welch College in Nashville, Tenn., in 1999. He was the Youth Pastor for First Free Will Baptist Church in McAlester, Okla., for three years before becoming the Lead Pastor for Trinity Free Will Baptist Church in Bridgeton, Mo., where he served for six years. Kenny brought his family to Noblesville, Ind. in 2008 to be a founding member and Lead Pastor for The Heights Church.
The Pandukus joined the Bridgeway family in 2014 and quickly felt at home. Kenny regularly wrote and delivered guest sermons and helped create content for our current Life Change Plan classes. Kenny believes in strengthening faith life, by creating an inviting community in an embracing environment. He is a consummate and voracious student of God’s teachings and is unrelenting in his mission to foster spiritual growth in his fellow church members and others. He has a passion for reaching the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and humbly embraces his role of leading the congregation in understanding and accomplishing God’s mission for His church, locally and globally. His favorite teams include the St. Louis Cardinals, Chelsea Football Club and..well...the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sorry Colts fans…not everyone is perfect! If you have heard Kenny speak, you will also know he can be tempted with pizza and Paul Newman’s spaghetti sauce. He also enjoys traveling, especially to New York City, with his talented wife and Bridgeway Worship Team Member, Anna, and their four boys: Carson (16), Caleb (14), Caden (11) and Colin (10).
In accordance with our constitution and by-laws, when hiring a new Lead Pastor, the elders will present their final selection for a three-week confirmation period to the church community before finalization. If you have any questions in regards to the search team's and elder’s selection, please contact them at email@example.com during this time frame. Kenny will assume his role, officially, as our new Lead Pastor on Monday, November 28, with his first Sunday being December 4. Thanks for your patience and faithfulness during this process and transition. We are excited to see what God has in store for us in this new chapter at Bridgeway.
